Join us in documenting area Filipinos' U.S. Navy experiences. Now seeking volunteers for writing,
editing, transcribing, graphic design, book layout, marketing, fundraising, etc. We invite you
to share your talent with the Filipino American community.
All volunteers--excluding interviewees--must be members of FANHS-HR.

In Our Aunties' Words: The Filipino Spirit of Hampton Roads
Learn about the immigration of Filipina aunties to Hampton Roads during the 1950s-70s. Own a piece of history in your library.
The DVD brings the In Our Aunties' Words oral history project to the big screen. This 30-minute film includes
live interviews with the featured Aunties. Students, young professionals and other participants discuss their
experiences during the making of the oral history project.
